Athletics

WALT THROW...

  1. A Discus
  • flip it over like a pancake
  • 1, 2, throw!
    2.  A Shotput
  • lean back before you throw
  • have the ball on your neck
  • make it whoosh past your ear
   3.  A Nerf
  • lean back before you throw
  • hold the nerf on the fat part
  • hold the nerf behind your ear
  • make it whoosh past your ear

WALT JUMP...
   
    1. At High Jump
  • run up to the mat
  • kick your legs up over the pole
    2. At Long Jump
  • run as fast as you can
  • when you get to the end of the grass, leap as far as you can

WALT RUN ...
  • we need to run as fast as we can
  • we need to run in a straight line
  • put your feet behind the line
  • get ready to run
  • wait until Fiona says "Ready, Set, GO!"
