The Highlights of our Year

It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of the year.  This week, we have been reflecting on our learning over the whole year.  You should see our list!  It is huge!  We each chose one aspect to talk about to go into our movie.  Enjoy!

We are learning how to count in 2's, 5's and 10's!  We have been talking about the strategies that we can use to help us.  One strategy that we can use is to use a hundreds board to help us.  That is what we are doing in these movies.

Have you seen this?!

Have you seen our beautiful quilt?! It is the product of a lot of hard work and investigative skills from the children in Room 2, 10 and 4. We ran out of dye in the art room and needed to make our own. We tried all sorts of things from the kitchen and garden. We discovered that the 3 best were tumeric (yellow), red cabbage (purple) and camellia (pink). We used these to dye our fabric. You will love looking at this close up! It will be in the art exhibition next week!
